About Us

Since 1981, Computer Innovations, Inc. has been a leader and vanguard in electronic claims processing. In the early 1990’s, we were the first in Connecticut to process directly with Healthnet (formerly Physicians Health Services). Today we are proud to say on a daily basis we directly submit over $1 million dollars in claims to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Connecticut, Medicare of CT, Medicare DME, Medicare Railroad, Connecticare and Medicaid without the use of a third party clearing house. Our commercial claims are submitted to Emdeon (formerly Web MD).

Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) provides claims payment and denial information for automated posting to patient accounts. Eliminating manual posting and freeing up more time for your office staff.

Standard Paper Remittance (SPR) can be electronically printed from our CIMedibill®software using a HIPAA compliant HealthCare Claim Payment Advice 835 file. This functionality saves offices time and reduces expenses.

Extensive knowledge and expertise in converting databases and systems, including but not limited to; Access, Advantics, Data Medics, DR Soft, Eye Come, HIS, IBAX, Lytec, Med1, Medic, Medical Manager, Medisoft, MicroEdge, PMS, ProMEd, Tiger, VersaForm, Versus and Wisdom.
